Sometimes I find pictures of David when he was in high school or an undergrad, and I am amazed by how much he resembles previous boyfriends. I clearly have a “type” that I date. Although having a “type” does not explain why I have a star-crush on Seth Green because he certainly does not fit the general parameters.
Tangent: One of my friends broke up with his girlfriend last year because he caught her making out with Seth Green in a bar.
But in more important news, in less than 24 hours Dave will be home. Yay! After only two weeks of marriage he moved away to Texas for a location shoot — for an entire month to work on a little project about a public school version of Disney’s High School Musical.

Today I lost my identity. Completely.
Officially.
Tucked in with today’s mail was a seemingly innocuous letter addressed to Mr. & Mrs. David.
See that? I’m now MRS. DAVID. My name is completely gone. *shiver*

This is my favorite photo from our wedding:

That one lone person sitting in the pews is Dave’s friend Dave. Dave’s other friend Scott is standing behind us taking the picture.

Not only have they been friends with Dave since grade school, but they also made me feel very welcome when I moved to Brooklyn. They signed the official documents, read the selected texts, and took plenty of photos.
We are pleased to say that we are now officially the smallest wedding to take place in the church since it was founded in 1827.
