•  What Teachers Make

I haven’t been hiding, but I have been busy for the last two months. Summer time is always exhausting for me. Not only am I teaching every single day of the week, but I am also revising my dissertation, staying up late, and taking weekend trips.

Highlights:

1. This kitten somehow managed to survive the black hole for kittens that is my neighbor’s apartment. His cats are not fixed. Lots of pregnancies, nary a kitten to be seen — until now.

Dave named him (or her) Mr. Jangles.

2. During a weekend trip to Washington DC, we went to a National’s baseball game. Between innings, these Presidents ran in a footrace against each other.

3. I got a haircut.

And I’m tired which makes me look like I’m on crack.

Although the skinny black jeans I tried on recently prove that I’m clearly not on crack because I’m not skeletal enough to wear skinny black jeans.
