checklist

How many checks do I have to have before I’m considered crazy?

  • add two more classes to my Spring semester work schedule (now five total)
  • celebrate my birthday
  • look for a house
  • apply for full-time teaching positions
  • help random puking girl on New Year’s Eve
  • spend holidays with the in-laws
  • design new syllabi for new classes
  • make dinner(s)
  • contemplate baking cupcakes to avoid revising my dissertation
  • spend time with Dave
  • drop off the face of the planet

All before I defend my dissertation three weeks from now.
